Penerapan Pendidikan Karakter Islami Berbasis Teaching With Love di Sekolah Islam Terpadu

Abstract


Today, the world of education is completely eroded by the times. Very easy access to information has an impact on the attitude, nature, politeness and politeness of students in receiving learning and education. One way to instill character education in children and students is by teaching with love.
This research is a field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. It aims to determine the application of character education based on teaching with love at SIT Qurrata'ayun Kandangan. The object of this research is the application of teaching with love in the Islamic character education of students at SIT Qurrota'ayun Kandangan. The subjects in this study were Islamic Religious Education teachers at the elementary, junior high, and high school levels at SIT in Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency. Data collection in this study was done by observation, interview, and documentation. This research was analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.
This study found that the implementation of Islamic character education based on teaching with love at SIT is not only in the learning syntax in the lesson plans and teaching modules, but also through school programs such as Islamic Personal Development (BPI), Islamic Literacy, routine Friday activities, and liaison books that exist at all levels of SIT with character education items that SIT wants to highlight, namely noble character, independence, achievement, and environmental care.
