Abstract


This study analyzes the skills of first-grade teachers in implementing variations as a strategy to improve the effectiveness of learning for first-grade students at MI Darul Falah Pematang Benteng. First-grade students have unique characteristics, such as short attention spans and high curiosity, so variations in learning are essential to maintain their interest and engagement. Variations include the use of various methods, media, teaching styles, and activities, which are tailored to the developmental needs of students. Through a qualitative approach based on literature studies, this study found that variations in learning can improve learning motivation, concentration, and social and emotional skills of children. Variations also support multisensory-based learning that strengthens conceptual understanding. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of training for teachers to master the skills of implementing variations in learning, in order to create meaningful and enjoyable learning experiences for first-grade students at MI Darul Falah
