MODEL PENELITIAN HUKUM

Abstract
The model of legal research in education constitutes a methodological framework employed to examine various legal issues related to the administration and development of the educational system. This article aims to describe and analyze several legal research models relevant to the field of education, including normative legal research, empirical legal research, sociological legal research, and an interdisciplinary approach to educational legal research. This study is significant given that educational problems are not merely regulatory in nature but also involve practical implementation and broader social dynamics. Normative legal research in education focuses on the analysis of legal norms, principles, doctrines, and statutory regulations governing the educational system. This approach emphasizes the examination of primary and secondary legal materials, the consistency and harmonization of regulations, and the alignment between legal provisions and the philosophical foundations of education. In contrast, empirical legal research in education investigates how legal norms are implemented in practice through field-based data collection methods such as interviews, observations, and case studies. Meanwhile, sociological legal research views law as a social phenomenon influenced by societal interactions, cultural contexts, and social structures within the educational environment. As a further development, the interdisciplinary model of educational legal research integrates legal perspectives with other disciplines, including sociology, psychology, educational management, and public policy. This approach enables a more comprehensive analysis of educational legal issues at both conceptual and practical levels. Therefore, an interdisciplinary model is expected to produce policy recommendations that are more contextual, comprehensive, and responsive to the evolving dynamics and needs of the education system
